If there were some predetermined quota and list of people designated to carry, I'd maybe buy it. they drive to shul friday right before shabbos, park overnight, walk home friday night, walk to/from shul sat morning, walk back sat night for evening prayers, and then drive home.
people who do this are some combo: 1) fat / lazy, 2) have longer walks, 3) running late friday afternoon, 4) shitty weather, 5) bringing stuff to shul friday afternoon like food |
