Anyways, she was running out of time to get someone and was desperate with no viable options, so she had to overpay to hire someone with relatively little experience and was bitter about it. I didn't know who the new nanny was, hadn't met her or seen pics, but I could sense some latent hostility every time my wife mentioned her.

Today was her first day, and I go downstairs to grab some lunch (wife and I are both WFH) and there is an objective 8.5 / 10 athletic, tanned, blonde 18 y/o stunner in the kitchen playing playdough with the kids, everyone seemingly having a blast.
