Without Trump, all the crazy BLM policies would have silently been effectuated over the course of 5-10 years without the hoi polloi really realizing what was happening before it was too late. With Trump, the violent backlash has at least exposed the movement’s true aims (complete destruction of existing social order, obliteration of any unifying national identity as American) and woken people up. |

The key here is that under the rule they will never NOT find discrimination because any differences in social health indicators is a priori under their ideology based on discrimination - there CANNOT be any other explanation. Therefore, practically one should have expected government efforts at “reintegration” through, for example, transferring ghetto blacks en masse to White schools or transfer of project blacks to the middle of White neighborhoods via “affordable housing” construction. Of course, should this occur, and as has been the case with all similar schemes, blacks are just going to bring their problems into white communities and degrade them. Further, this is a rule for white working class neighborhoods, not the professional liberal class - very high income communities will just be able to forego funds and maintain themselves as exclusively mostly white enclaves.
I don’t understand your point in saying that “people in the media and universities wouldn’t be this galvanized against racism with(out) Trump.” (I assume you meant without). The media and academia have in the recent past been just as galvanized (even if not as vocal to the public about it) and had the exact same goals and were largely effectuating them through their control of the administrative arm of the government, using the main technique of (1) obscuring the true import of their policies and goals by characterizing them as just another anti-racist measure (Because who wants more racism?) and (2) Defining opposition to such policies as per se racist.
They’re doing the same thing in the current madness. The marketing trick is to get people to agree to an obvious truism (“black lives matter”); portray that as support for their neomarxist programs (Eg police defunding and radical redistribution) ; and smear anyone who doesn’t support the program as racists. Most people out there protesting have no idea they’re being used as a pawn - they think they’re protesting against cops being allowed to choke someone for 8 mimutes and kill them, not for the abolishment of police and the massive transfer of wealth and abolition of various quality og life crimes.
In the end, the alternative to Trump was either outright surrender (ie these crazy ideas being enacted under our noses) or just a later war. Good that the true nature of the conflict is out in the open now |
