then tons of late middle aged ladies who barely bother to dress up, some legit grannies were also streetwalkers. lots of african black women out too

out of every 100 women i've seen selling sex, prob 2-3 are acceptable and they aren't 'hot'. the guys paying to keep this industry alive must be truly desperate

street girls are obliviously the lowest of the low. A few of the girls in the bars will be ok, but most of them suck.

food made to order is often like $4-5 for a small scoop of pad thai plopped straight from a wok onto on a flimsy piece of plastic. when you get food to go, they'll put burning hot soup straight into a little plastic bag that's likely loaded with BPAs or whatever. most of the street food barely has any protein or veggies in it

the one place I thought that was good and a decent deal was the food court at Terminal 21's mall, Pier 21. you can get a functional pad thai/mango sticky rice for $1 each. it's not surprising that a lot of locals were there. but its sad that a mall food court is now the best deal in BKK
