Their mid tier cities are excellent, like Puebla and Oaxaca both have incredible cultural activities/museums/historical sites. Many of the good restaurants even have kids play areas you can just dump them at, or a top nanny is very cheap.
You need to know a bit of Spanish to get the best experience, lots of tourists get taken advantage of but as long as you come prepared I think it's even better than Europe for tourism right now (no Muslim crime gangs anywhere!) The chimpout was a flash in the pan, the cartels barely lasted a day before getting their shit pushed in by the army, marines, and intelligence agencies. |
