16gb variant of course. That's my bellwether because it's the cheapest NVIDIA product with 16gb of VRAM, and no gamer needs more than 12gb. It's a SPS product in most regards but it's got the extra 4gb of RAM plus CUDA cores. AMD will sell you 16gb, but without CUDA support it can only become abandonware. Intel is not even worth discussing.
So these cards have been pegged at $450-500 since launch. And it looks like Nvidia boosted supplies right before the holidays to ensure people could get them for MSRP.
But Nvidia is also set to benefit yugely from the shift to HBM memory and away from consumer products. Furthermore, you can't have a scenario where a GPU with 16gb of VRAM costs the same as 16gb of system RAM. Samsung and Hynix don't work like that.
