Next time, get a 24 oz package of Wright brand applewood thick cut bacon. Also get a package of hickory thick cut. Oven roasting is fine, but you only need one fucking piece of parchment paper to line your sheet pan. Convection roast at 325 for better control. Be sure to flip before finishing |

Date: May 3rd, 2026 6:12 PM Author: Rough-skinned round eye Cooking bacon in the oven is far and away the best way to do it to get great bacon with minimal burden or mess. Just this morning, I cooked 1 lb of bacon in the oven for breakfast for my family. It was great, as always.
I use tinfoil, not parchment paper. Explain using paper. Seems ncr with the grease.
I didn't discover cooking it in the oven until I was an adult. Growing up, we would microwave it on paper towels on a plastic lid (ljl), microwave it on our special plastic microwave bacon cooker, or fry it on the stove. |
