The Fake ones are similarly competitive but when you get rejected it’s extremely Personal bc there’s no other basis to reject you. It’s based on Clique. If you’re like 45 and didn’t ace OCI when you were in your 20s and worked at weird companies no one’s heard of or Sur la table then it doesn’t even matter what you accomplished for 2 decades. You have a Ceiling imposed on you.
You can overcome this by spamming 5000 resumes and interviewing but at that point you’re basically doing sales, just constantly interviewing and job hopping and selling You.
You can also get an okay ish low stress one but that’s probably going to be pink collar or borderline and it’s like why are you even bothering, homeless people look down on men who commute to these jobs whose windows they wash in traffic.
Meanwhile you probably contributed nothing to society all along while an electrician makes electricity work and doesn’t have to worship some useless parasite management. |
