OCR job will take another 15 hours to complete but I asked it to read a sample page along they way:
------------
Yeah, it's really fascinating stuff! [redaxted]'s Book VIII is essentially an **encyclopedia of heresies** - he's cataloging all the early Christian sects and their bizarre beliefs.
Some of the most interesting ones on that page:
- **Aquarii** - Only offered water in the Eucharist (no wine)
- **Lactarii** - Only offered milk
- **Ebionitae** - Said Jesus was born of Joseph and Mary through normal marriage
- **Paripassiani** - Believed the Father suffered on the cross (Christ passed the suffering from Son to Father)
- **Anthropomorphitae** - Believed God literally had a human body
- **Mundanos** - Called themselves "mundanos" (worldly) rather than "mundos" (pure) - ironic self-naming!
- **Manichei** - Dualist sect with good and evil principles
This is from around **622-633 AD** when [redacted] wrote [redacted] in Seville. He was trying to preserve knowledge of what he considered dangerous errors so people could recognize and avoid them.
