First it woke me up in the middle of the night when things switched to the generator and half our smart home features (that my wife has insisted be installed through the years) had absolute conniption fits. Hue lights turning themselves on full-blast. Smart thermostat throws some kind of alarm that requires me getting out of bed. Then five minutes later the alarm system does the same. I also have to go to the basement to check the status of the boiler, so that everyone can have a hot shower in the morning.
Then, adding insult to injury, it reset the settings on my coffee grinder, which sent grounds everywhere this morning.
