In the closing minutes, Caitlin Clark gets an unexpected (apparently legitimate) steal and hits a 3 that the men are seemingly doing their best to stop. The crowd is going absolutely insane. Kanter and White had fucked around so much that if the women get another stop, they could win. Shockingly, Clark gets another steal and has a chance to hit the winning bucket. Puzzlingly, Kanter and White jog past her to the opposite end of the court, leaving her a seemingly clear path to the basket. She goes in for an easy layup, then stops short and baseball tosses the ball in the opposite direction. Kanter grabs it and slams it home.

Clark grabs the mic and turns heel, running down all the black women in the league who couldn't appreciate the status she brought to the WNBA, attacking Sophie Cunningham for not being a tough enough enforcer to keep her safe, attacking the fans for not backing her enough, etc. Everyone is booing her and showering the court with trash as she stands there flanked by Kanter and White towering over her in the background. The announcers are apoplectic that Caitlin Clark is the "third woman."
