Here's another issue: Intel is a direct competitor with some of these companies. Can Apple trust Intel's foundry not to share its proprietary designs with Intel's chip design team? China gets accused of stealing technology, but here's a case where no one trusts whitey. Google and Nvidia put in orders with Samsung at one point but would not deal with Intel. |
