he's never been as dominant as tiger is in any given season, either. tiget won literally everything he applied for

He's got a wife he loves and won't kill his career 15 years short because of his chase for strange, pumo.

sure anything's possible, but he's not even close to on pace to match tiger. it's not clear if he's good enough to win 11 more slams. there's plenty of other guys people thought could match tiger. remember spiettth? he won 3-4 slams when he was very young and people asked whether he can best tiger, and look at him now. scottie might not even be #1 in 2-3 yrs, or maybe he will.

Nobody has dominated like this since Tiger. Once he has the lead it's over

right but tiger dominated much more and for longer and at a younger age.

Shit I didn't realize Scottie was 29 already. Dude had a late start at winning majors. Still wouldn't be shocked if he wins 2-3 more per year for the next 5 years.

It's really up to the rest of the guys, many who suck ass after joining LIV

I seriously don't think the competition wants to win as badly as Tiger or Nicklaus or Hogan. That gives Scottie more of a chance

no, i wouldnt be shocked either. i also think there's plenty of other very good guys still in their prime who have won multiple slams and know how to win and can slow down his pace, plus he could easily slow down mentally or physically or get burnt out. he's got a shot, but it's a huge uphill battle still at this point.

Koepka and DJ are done here, Morikawa is a joke

Who are you talking about? Bryson Dechanbeau? lol

hapa xander won 2 slams last year. theres guys like JT, rahm etc too

and golf has inherent randomness. random fucks like jj spawn and harman and wyndam hotel have won slams recently.

golf isn't like tennis where the same 2 guys are gonna win every slam for a decade. way more randomness.

Tiger and Jack's competition seemed way more fierce than these clowns

I like Xander a lot but he's never going to intimidate or catch Scottie on Sunday morning. All the guys you mentioned can hold a lead going into the 4th day. I don't see any of them doing what Tiger (or Scottie) does in terms of bum rushing the leaderboard out of nowhere or holding a massive lead after day 2 that nobody else ever sniffs

you're making good points, but keep in mind that scottie has won 2 slams in a year only once. he's bum rushing the leaderboard out of nowhere -- when he wins. but tiger was bum rushing the field in almost every event he played in his prime.

He'll be the all-time career money guy for sure. I don't think he can catch Tiger or Jack in other accolades. Most guys get complacent as they get older unless they have full blown maladaptive narcissism like Woods or Brady.
