lol this is actually a strong point.
I remember reading an argument that the mass adoption of index funds that track the S&P has led to a weird version of communism. Literally "the workers own the means of production" in a modern markets sense. And it is clear that it has led to poorer corporate governance while allowing "Politburo" boss types like Larry Fink to have far too much say in how the economy is managed.
