I go out of my way to make jokes about it, both little things like "Jamie here went to Colum-- or I guess now under their agreement, it's going to be 'The Jared and Ivanka Trump University at Old Columbia College,' right?", and also just using Columbia as an idiom when talking about betraying your values, e.g., "if they get to $10M we're going to drop all our other demands and fold so fast it'll make Columbia University look like Thomas Becket."
The point of these jokes is not to be funny. It is to Hurt those who deserve it. |
