2D fighters, literally like 100 of these and the graphics all look amazing. may or may not be better than PS1 at this but it had comparative advantage if nothing else.
Shoot em ups, this entire genre is lost on you because they are all hard as fuck but play the arcade versions with unlimited tokens in emulator and you'll appreciate what was achieved with these.
Virtua Fighter 1-2, try actually playing it, it's the best 3D fighter until soul calibur afaik. Tekken is a Joke.

The eyetoy is a historical footnote. The kinect was actually *bundled* with the Xbox one, after microsoft already should have known nobody cared about it based on the 360 version, and was directly responsible for Microsoft LOSING THE GEN because it inflated the price of the console. Not only that, Microsoft never won a gen thereafter and lost each following gen by greater and greater margins, to the point that it has completely capitulated in the console war, so it wouldn't be a stretch to pin Microsoft's entire loss on the Kinect. But you want to talk about the "eyetoy," a minor speedbump in Sony's clear win. I think you're biased. |
