People who turn philosophy into a job are extremely rare. They almost all have some kind of kitschy hook that's obvious to draw people in like Zizek being crass, hideous, and entertaining. Or you go on TV all the time and pontificate like BHL. The problem with Consuela's views is that they're so overly negative and they have no entertainment value.
It's a random hodgepodge of bad/unpopular conspiracy theories, horrible financial advice, and pseudo-religious naval gazing. He just doesn't have his hook settled. He's like the philosophical version of a bad cover band. It's like he can't figure out if he's meant to cover The Beatles or the Stones while doing neither well.
His material is dreary, glum, incoherent, doesn't lead to any actionable intelligence. It's like a poorly written soap opera for high IQ introverts based on an enormous mountain of undue self belief and overconfidence. Most people in his position eat humble pie until they find a niche way to become successful. Consuela has already solved the world's problems and instead of figuring out his shtick and making it more entertaining he just mopes endlessly about how he's an undiscovered Great Artist. It's honestly extremely pathetic and sad. Seen it too many times.
