Taking Qs on my tree farm. It will relate my law job in about 3 years.

Some background info:
Leasing 5 acres from a farmer. I am growing a total mix of trees on them.
on one acre I’m doing native hardwoods
on another I’m doing flowering ornamentals
on another. I’m doing fruit and nut trees
on another. I’m doing fast growers like elderberry
and on another I’m doing seedling propagation
Costs are about $20k to get all set up.
Selling on a combo of NRCS program, landscapers, Etsy and FB marketplace direct to consumer, trying to get a commitment from a big park district right now too, if I can get that I can triple in size.
If all goes according to plan will be netting about $350k in year 3-4, and 2029 will be my last year practicing law. |
