Verne Troyer fatal alcohol dose

But reports said he arrived at the hospital with a blood alcohol level above 300 mg/dL, i.e. roughly 0.30% BAC—a level that can be fatal, especially in a small person or someone medically fragile. The L.A. County coroner ruled his death suicide from sequelae of alcohol intoxication. The AP/Chicago Sun-Times report also says he later died of multiple organ failure and notes the 55-lb body weight and BAC above 300 mg/dL. Very rough drink math: for a 55-lb male, one standard beer might raise BAC something like 0.04–0.06% before metabolism. To get near 0.30%, you are more in the zone of 5–8+ standard drinks in a short period, maybe more or less depending on time, tolerance, food, liver function, medications, and illness |

It's impossible to say for certain whether someone that OD'd did it on purpose. But the default is to say they "died suddenly", so when suicide is listed explictly there is usually very convincing evidence which, understandably, isn't going to be released just to sate the publics curiosity.
