I’m only halfway through it but this would have been unthinkable 10 years ago. Slamming Merz, talking about the mass rape and violence of afghans and Syrians, the fact that there are huge numbers of school kids in a state there who can’t speak German, that Germany is turning the naturalization process into a joke, that all these migrants need to be deported, that Islam is a cancer.
20 years ago you might have gotten someone from the CSU getting criticized for saying it’s okay to waive the German flag and be proud of Germany. And that one third of the chamber is applauding her. Funny how much the tide has turned.
