The alternative, which would bring pain in the short-term, would be to let the financial bubble to pop and allow the economy to restructure around the reality on the ground. i.e.) around the underlying factors that drive production and consumption as opposed to the pseudo-reality created by our hyper-financialized system that acts in increasingly beligerent ways to keep growing. |
