And that's without getting into some outstanding tier 2 exclusives like the Xenoblade and Bayonetta series. At the bare minimum, I would say that Nintendo's exclusives hold their own against exclusives on other consoles.
The issue with the Switch 2 right now is that it has no games period. There is Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. And there are like 5-6 third party publishers that have released Switch 2 versions of their games. And that is literally it. It's backward compatible with the Switch 1, so there are games to play if you have a Switch 1 library. But I can't recommend that a Switch 1 owner run out and buy one until it actually has games. |
