there are two types of games and they cater to two audiences that are polar opposites.
you have the easy gacha game for tired and time poor wagies. they achieve what wagies want from a game. something easy on the mind, immediate power for a price.
then you have the simulacrum of life type game for the NEET aristocrats. the reason why the simulacrum of life games always suck is that P =/= NP so the technical design of these games always lags behind the vignettes that daydreamers conjure up as to what a Game should be. These games are always exploited to the point where the optimal way to play is to 'mod it', bot the game, or follow some piecemeal function to get ahead. its why people playing classic WoW are weird freaks. Everything has been solved, and they are reading off the script.
