The SNES library on the Switch online gives me the exact feeling I had contemporaneously which was like holy shit this is like 60 hours of cumulative first-party content to cover an entire gen and not all of it is great. Even for most of the SNES gen I was like "jesus christ next Gen will be so much better." Nintendo was outshined by 3rd parties on the SNES moreso than any platform imho. No one else says this.
And then N64 came and their 30 years of Humiliation started. So I wonder if that's why the fanboys are so passionate. Just because they Lost so many gens. A passionate af cohort of Losers. |
