this was never really an issue as internet culture was a thing unto itself and determined by a shared constellation of beliefs for most of its existence

"libs" are just like hungry cannibals coming in and demanding that you recreate conditions that their own belief systems and value sets are opposed to and that in fact make creating or maintaining those conditions impossible and then they chimp out and declare the existence of these communities "criminal" or the more recent "thought-criminal" once they realize that there are severe structural or systemic problems with the way they organize, distribute, promote, etc
