also wanted to recommend Castrator if you haven't already heard them. if you're gonna be funemployed for very long, take a field trip to MMF. they'll be playing with some other killer bands on Saturday. |

Yep, Castrator is great. MMF probably won't be doable for me since I hope to be employed and am going to Europe with my family right after that. That Saturday lineup is killer though. Agalloch playing Ashes Against the Grain?!

I always liked jeff loomis after checking out sanctuary and those other later-stage tech/prog thrash bands, which then led me to Nevermore. I didn't ever get to see them with Warrel (I think I blew my one shot). Though I did see him play with Arch Enemy a few times.
btw, you may not remember poasting it, but i remember the pencil drawing you did of the artwork for this godless endeavor. very doobsian of me, i know. |
