The big shift from 2000 to 2026... Celebrity used to be something where if you made it you had leeway to live in the moment and enjoy the ride. Take someone like Scott Storch who wrote some of the biggest records of the 2000s and he blew 50 million dollars on cocaine and fucking Paris Hilton and all her friends.
Today someone like Clavicular doesn't drink, works all the time, boring soulless personality, not many people actually like him and his 15 minutes will be up soon. The idea behind Vinny Chase is that he's universally beloved and too big to fail and the party will never end. Gen Z will never know this era. They only know temperance and grinding. |

When Entourage was made, it was when the superhero movies were really taking off. There was some new stupid superhero movie coming out every week, retarded ones. Hollywood had jumped the Superhero shark.
So the Aquaman trailer was actually meant to be a joke: haha, this superhero thing is so out of control that Hollywood would actually make a fucking Aquaman movie.
AND THEN THEY DID IT FOR REAL.
Having said all that, the Aquaman with Vince playing him ironically looked like it would have been pretty fucking cool and the real Aquaman with Jason Momoa looks more like satire. |
