it stars an uber-wealthy shitlib hypocrite who loves to larp as a man of the people so other uber-wealthy shitlibs will clap for him. here's the logline: ""Ghetto" Pat Calhoun and Perfidia Beverly Hills are members of the far-left terrorist group the French 75. Breaking out detained immigrants from a detention center in California, Perfidia humiliates the commanding officer, Steven Lockjaw, who develops a sexual fascination with her. Pat and Perfidia become lovers as the French 75 carry out attacks on politicians' offices, banks, and the power grid. Lockjaw catches Perfidia planting a bomb, but lets her go after she agrees to have sex at a motel."
in other words, it is shitlib filth and garbage -- so you'll probably love it

Just saw it tonight. Totally mediocre, I don't get the hype. It didn't even seem particularly shitlib to me either as they are made to look like buffoons (as are the shitcons tbf). I think it's supposed to be a 'black comedy' but it was a swing-and-a-miss for me. Nobody in the theater I was in really laughed either--a few chuckles at best.
Completely different subject matter but a movie it reminded me of in terms of pacing and what I think it was 'going for' would be Pain and Gain. That, however was an excellent movie IMO so I'm all about the dark comedies but this one just did not connect. First movie I've ever seen Leo in where I thought he was over-acting and was miscast too. Sean Penn and Benecio were both good though.
