I'm in the college town of a directional state university for work. Think University of Iowa at Town You've Never Heard Of, etc. It seems really chill. Fun college town, cute girls, no strivers. Definitely haven't seen a campus Hillel or any Azns.
Anyway, they have a very active athletic presence. Not in a Power 5 conference but they play some of those schools. It's pretty easy to be a big wheel in the booster club. Looked it up and highest tier of membership is 20k per year.
Seems like it would be pretty cool to cut a check (I make more than 20 in a week), and then become this celebrated guest of the athletic department. Sky box seats at the football game with the university president, chill game days followed by drinking at the college bars. Thoughts from XO?
