Date: March 11th, 2026 3:51 PM Author: ...,,..;...,,..,..,...,,,;.., good Q. i've been to iran and it seems that there arent clear divides. the seculars are generally urban and educated, but the ppl connected w the govt pretend to be fundies bc it's convenient.
there are also certain cities that seem to be more religious than others, in the same way that a big city like dallas is more conservative than a big city like sf, and it doesnt necessarily seem like its solely a rural vs urban thing.
it seems kind of like the US. you have a huge population with various ethnic groups spread over a huge land mass, and there arent necessarily general rules. |
