2. the charges for lying to Congress will never go anywhere. although Comey lied to Grassley the statute has run. 3. as for the possible new charges, there is no doubt that Comey leaked to the NYT. he admits it. the key question is whether the material was classified. in the Mar-a-Lago case the 11th Circuit schooled Judge Cannon and said that the government designation determines whether the material was classified. i need to know more about these new charges to see if they have merit.
