Trump will finally get what he really wants in a second term which is he will no longer be accountable to anyone (including his voters).
Democracy as we know it would end, I don’t think that’s an exaggeration. It would become something new we don’t recognize and it will be bad. He has not yet been able to indulge his most demagogic and authoritarian impulses.
American civic culture is important. It is what makes America different. It is what makes us special in the world. Trump has complete disregard if not contempt for it. Both other Republicans and Democrats have harmed civic virtue before, no doubt. But no one ever like Trump. Trump will squash like a bug, readily and eagerly, what has set America apart since it’s foundational time. He’s just waiting for the chance now to go all out.

Dude, are you willfully blind to Trump's idiocy? Do you really think the 'establishment' aligned against him is why he's been unable to accomplish virtually anything he set out to do?
The Dems didn't nominate a "wokeist" ticket. Bernie has failed twice, like Hillary, and Biden (centrist) picked California's top cop (Kamala) as his running mate. Just because they say "Black Lives Matter" doesn't make them radicals.
You're as deeply delusional as any wokester and believe this is an almost religious sense, same as they do. That what you believe is all good and what they are trying to do is all evil.
Biden is going to be less divisive, will be more effective in creating bipartisan cooperation, will expand healthcare access, will raise taxes on the very wealthy (a good thing) and will not constantly complain like a mentally ill freak about "fake news" and picking fights all day. Trump doesn't know how to govern. He knows how to run a real estate company (kinda), but not the United States.

President on neo-nazi march: "good people on both sides"
President on QAnon: "I don't know much about them, they seem to like me. They seem to love America, they love our country. It seems to be gaining in popularity."

> President on neo-nazi march: "good people on both sides"
you're being dishonest
fact of the matter is there were some non-neo-nazis protesting against removing the statue or whatever in charlottesville. Trump wasn't commenting specifically on the neo-nazis when he said there were good people on both sides. he was acknowledging that you don't need to be a neo-nazi in order to think the anti-statue jihad is a bad idea.
also go back and note how he brought up tearing down statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson as the end result of the anti-statue jihad. He was laughed at and mocked for this at the time. Now consider what's going on right now. Maybe if you're a little less dishonest and look at what's happening in the world a bit more you can get your head out of your ass and stop being an enabler of the violent left wing mob.

1) there were neo-nazis. Trump repeatedly said they were awful.
2) there were some regular people resisting cancel culture and protesting a statue getting taken down. these were the fine people Trump was talking about.
3) the neo-nazis did their attention-whoring neo-nazi thing, and the media spun the protest activity as being all about neo-nazis, and lied repeatedly about who Trump was referring to re: fine people. you are apparently credulous and believe this spin.

Trump: "As I said on -- remember, Saturday -- we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America. And then it went on from there. Now, here’s the thing --"
Trump: "Well, I think the driver of the car is a disgrace to himself, his family, and this country. And that is -- you can call it terrorism. You can call it murder. You can call it whatever you want. I would just call it as the fastest one to come up with a good verdict. That’s what I’d call it. Because there is a question: Is it murder? Is it terrorism? And then you get into legal semantics. The driver of the car is a murderer. And what he did was a horrible, horrible, inexcusable thing.

There were patriot militias that were there and decidedly separate from and against the neo-nazi protests

Dude you sound like a 22 year old who is regurgitating some shit articles you read.
Have you even bothered to read / listen to Trump's remark and look into this issue independently of someone explaining everything to you?
There were essentially 4 groups out there - a free speech group protesting a confederate statue being taken down who wanted it put somewhere else, a group advocating for that statue being taken down, a neo-nazi group, and an antifa group who went out to counter the neo-nazi group.
Read Trump's remarks for yourself - he said there were good people on both sides, then specifically clarified that he wasn't talking about the nazi group they should be condemned obviously
What reason do you have to think QAnon is dangerous in any way? Do you honestly think they'll be able to gain any sort of popular backing in the public?
Your anxiety here is representative of everything that is retarded about the modern media landscape - BLM protests, riots and antifa riots have caused violence in the streets, deaths far in excess of any single year's worth of unarmed black victims being shot by police, hundreds of millions in property damage / destruction / people's livelihoods ruined (disproportionately minority businesses) , antifa groups are rioting and assaulting people practically on a daily basis, the violent crime and murder rate has spiked 10-50% in most major u.s. cities (especially ones with high proportion of blacks)

And yet you're claiming that the REAL threat is some fringe internet group who have done..... what is it again?

Right. The dems want to cancel free speech, take away our guns, pack the courts, get rid of the electoral college, create more states, open borders and citizenship for all.
But Trump is dangerous to democdacy.

“Authoritarian” is a word libs like to throw around about Trump when it’s libs who seek their own authoritarianism.

What is scary is Kamala.
Dems have leaned hard into identity politics. They're also delusional about Russia. The constellation of Dem podcasts is turning their minds to mush.
They are painting the previous constitutional order as racist, and thus illegitimate. That is what the 1619 project is.
DC statehood will be a huge problem. It is an obvious power grab and changing of the rules. But Dems will say it is about race.
GOP will object. They will regard any legislation passed with a DC vote as illegitimate.
Then you have a crisis of authority.
