He used to openly talk about how he agitates for libs over the GOP because he believes that a lib-driven "accelerationist" collapse of society would result in a path to power for himself, whereas if the MAGA GOP is able to slow down or stop the bleeding, there's no hope for him to ever gain institutional power. He stopped openly talking about this at some point because people started bringing it up when he would be an openly bad faith actor toward right wing figures

He is an incredibly cynical and sociopathic person. Pretends to be a Christian when he's an atheist, pretending to be anti-covid vax when he's a germophobe who freaked out about covid at irl events, pretends to support a "multiracial" US and opposes "stupid wignats" despite having obvious 1488 beliefs, pretends to be a heterosexual "trad" person when he's a homosexual deviant

Normally this is the kind of person I'd actually like and respect, because he's such a clear-eyed and practical and ruthless person. But he's willing to burn down the entire world just so he himself can get power and influence. This is too much. It's okay to be cynical and power-hungry but having no values or vision outside of advancing your own personal interests is juvenile and shameful and no sophisticated or high quality person will want anything to do with you
