It isn't totally crazy it produces some answers in the right neighborhood. but also results in absurdities like shrews and small birds getting way too high and elephants and whales too low for their cognitive performance
a lot of the original reason for making it a metric was motivated by Ape Arrogance. We wanted to make a number that showed primate cognition was the best. |
