the polls had a left skew in 2016 and 2020 so the pollsters, after failing badly twice "corrected" the polls and created a right skew which has been evident in every election since 2020. They were skewed about 4 points to the right in 2022 and 2023. It could be even worse with a POTUS election which has more younger and minority voters.
Also, the electoral college isn't as biased as it once was because lots of people from California and New York have moved to states like Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina. |
