seems a bit harsh for merely having some nude fun on the job:
Nudist doctor gets medical license revoked until 2030 after performing sexual act at work
BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (KATV) — The Arkansas Medical Board has acted against a Blytheville doctor who paraded naked through his own office, in full view of his colleagues and patients.
Dr. David Diffine was caught on camera walking around his own practice completely nude in 2019.
Diffine met with the medical board today and had his medical license revoked for five years.
He considers himself a nudist, a person who gets naked whenever possible.
An investigation found that after work hours in 2019, Diffine would walk around his family practice in Mississippi County with nothing but a ballcap on, and it was all caught on camera.
“That appeared to show Dr. Diffine in the office and walking around naked and at some point, performing a sexual act,” said Nick Shull, a witness for the Attorney General.
However, Deputy Attorney General Doralee Chandler said that's not what Diffine told investigators.
“What time frame were you referencing when you said, ‘I don't walk around clients naked,’ was that 2019?” asked Chandler.
“Yeah,” said Diffine.
“So, you lied to the investigator?” asked Chandler.
“I mean, yeah,” said Diffine.
Diffine at one point walked into the reception room with three female workers who were also patients and, according to investigators, committed a sexual act directly on one of them.
“There were no threats, no conversations of any type,” said Diffine. “Again, it was a very, very poor decision, but it was consensual.”
Chandler said Diffine lied once again.
“So, you’d agree with me that if you engaged in sexual contact with someone who is a patient, it doesn't matter if their consent was consensual or not. Is that correct?” asked Chandler.
“It doesn't matter if it was consensual or not if they are a former or current patient,” said Diffine.
As the hearing was coming to a close, Diffine made a final statement.
“It matters to my family and my friends because that’s not the person that I am,” said Diffine. “But the night of that video, there were some bad decisions made on my part, and I take full responsibility and accountability for that.”
Chandler said lying is just one issue and wants the board to understand.
“He failed polygraphs but wants you to believe that now that the board has been presented with these videos, that he’s good to go and this would never happen again,” said Chandler.
Diffine has the chance to get his license back in August of 2030.
The medical board said they made this decision to protect future patients.
