I don't understand why I don't get stronger. I eat like 150 grams of protein a day on average. Am 6'4" 200 lbs.

But I'm weak as shit for my size compared to people on this board. I lift 3 days a week, 1st day chest and arms, 2nd day, back and shoulders and 3rd day legs. Probably have been doing this for 3-4 months consistently and literally am no stronger than when I started.

if you lift 3 days/week, you can't waste your days on shit like a "chest day" or "bicep day". if anything, you should be squatting every day. just do starting strength, stop thinking about how many reps/sets/exercises you should be doing and just follow the program.

keep moving the weight up, i don't do this because im stupid and lazy and it takes me forever to make gains. But, basically every week or two weeks add at least 5 pounds (on each side of bar) to your last set from where you were the previous week and if that means you can only get 3/5 on last set, so be it.

basically, i mean I'd still make sure you're getting a good work out. like if you realize you can only do 1 rep moving the weight up, go back and do another set at the weight you were doing and then attempt to get 3-4 the next week with the additional weight.

you will get used to lifting the additional weight, it will also make the lower weight you did the previous week seem much easier.
