Whether it be climate change, systemic racism, or the common flu, authoritarian libs first insist the thing is a "crisis", then they deride every attempt at addressing the problem as inadequate because it failed to outright solve the "crisis", but this is of course because the "crisis" fundamentally cannot be solved. It's impossible to have perfectly equal race outcomes, it's impossible to have zero carbon emissions, and it's impossible to stop a coronavirus from spreading and get 100% compliance with masks, handwashing etc.

This is the desired situation for libs--crisis in apparent need of a solution but with no solution. They now use the inevitable "failure" of every attempted measure as justification for ever more extreme measures, ad infinitum, until all of their preferred policies have been implemented.
