A lot of talk therapy isn’t oriented towards direct, actionable advice. They often just sit their passively and occasionally asking questions, jerking you off for an hour. At least LLMs are direct in offering advice. There is also have the advantage that there is no pressure to conceal certain thoughts or experiences from them and they are always available and free
