good research experience is almost mandatory for cs majors. probably even more important for you. a publication in a good conference will greatly help.
then get a good score on cs gre, and try and get a cs prof to do a reference.
domestic status helps alot. these schools get deluged with indian and chinese applicants, and I wouldn't be surprised if they separate out and consider the domestics separately.
