Very impressive fort didn’t have the intense battle inside like Veau but a LOL XO style story where some Germans, post capture, were cooking inside and started a fire. They came running out with their faces black from smoke, their comrades thought they were black colonials and started shooting and then and tossing grenades which set off some shells and killed 600+.
