Bombed the major proof on the exam and ended up getting like a 65%. Since the whole class was the examinations, this caused me to lose my A+ and I got a B+ instead. All from one bad examination day. I did the problem like 2 days later and got it all right without any trouble. Just that one day I guess I wasn't ready. Still pissed about it today 20 years later. |

I was a math major who took measure theory and a couple other graduate seminars as an undergraduate and still graduated with a 3.99. Anatomy and physiology was the only class I had to take pass/fail as an undergraduate. I get that it was a premed weeder class, but this guy made it completely insane. We had to memorize every bone in the body and then the name, origin, insertion, and action for over 200 muscles. And that was just one chapter. It was just an exercise in rote memorization, but the amount of memorization required was totally absurd. I finally said fuck it and took the class pass/fail.
