Imho it's fascinating from my pov given how well-heeled the PS5 set is as a whole, especially compared to the Xbox fandom. When I go see my buddies for COD LAN tournaments the place is liable to break into fisticuffs and bottles are liable to be thrown (or, if nothing else, be spat in as players are dipping). The PS5 fandom in my neck of the woods, if you get a few of them together, I mean first of all they always take their shoes off inside. Next thing, someone will suggest playing Playstation All-stars. But somehow we never get that far and before you know it, we've been talking all night about our common interests, often those well outside of gaming, but it's interest in gaming that brings us together. And furthermore these get-togethers are often in condominiums with high af maintenance fees. So I'm surprised anytime I see a PS5er who's fallen on hard times unless he's an adjunct or something.
