There's a super sail that makes you go faster, and the Triforce shard hunt is streamlined by putting some of the shards where Triforce charts were originally hidden. I like the game, but at the time people rightly complained it was too easy, and I agree that coming up with thousands of rupees to pay Tingle to decipher the Triforce charts is painful. The path you take will drop out right at the end of the dungeon. But yes, kids who don't know what they're doing will spend days sneaking around the hallways of the Forsaken Fortress and getting caught over and over.
