Even if you keep the windows closed, that hot, dense outside air is going to slowly leak in over time. Is your throat scratchy or what?

I lived in brand new house during the 2020 wildfires and could smell smoke in every room. The air quality was so bad that I had to stay in a hotel for over a week.

Sucks but you could have splurged on air purifiers for what you paid for the hotel

Here in the Twin Cities, the outside air this week was the worst I've ever experienced.

Wasn't that bad inside though. I don't have an "air purifier" but I did run the AC and my dehumidifier a lot.

I don't know if I would call it "free", it costs a lot in electricity to run that dehumidifier.

This is the upper midwest though, the water out of the tap is basically free & tastes great
