And the only real takeaway from all of this is… I should have been on that plane.
Because let’s be honest, there’s no escape from the grind. You survive the crash? Great, enjoy your two-hour wait at Canadian Customs before an RBC intern in a polyester suit hands you a voucher for an airport Tim Hortons. You die? Some lib is typing up a LinkedIn post about “bravery in adversity” while a Delta PR flack drafts the world’s most tepid statement about their commitment to safety.
