People weren't meant to feel happy or positive 100% of the time, and that's just something people have to live with. At the end of day, feeling neutral is something people should aim for. I don't know why society started thinking otherwise. |

I would imagine they just inform mom that these risks are largely unknown while there is known harm from abruptly stopping antidepressants and leave the decision to them.
