No Games, systems only have a handful of exclusives, AAA gaming is all shit. Console companies that clearly don’t care about Games or customers. Maybe Nintendo is the exception.
Most games are no different than the genres set out in thr Xbox 360 era, just slightly better graphics now (but not a ton better)
A few bright spots like VR and a few other things that bring out the wonder, but otherwise it’s all uninspiring shit these days.

Cr but i think it is probably much much harder to come up with a great fresh idea for a game than it's ever been.
First, we now have 50 years of video games. Every aspect of our lives has been simulated in video games. Sports, racing, fighting, war, puzzles etc. Every step of the way, each new great game was groundbreaking because no similar game preceded it and the developers had new, revolutionary technology to build on.
How do you come up with a fresh, new great video game idea with no new technology and decades of games preceding you? It's like telling a group of young talented musicians to write the best rock n' roll song of all time in 2024.
