childhood trauma... I was pretty lonely, minor child prodigy, and while not aspie, severely malcoordinated and shitastic at processing where I was in space, which took any kind of sport off the table. probably it was my increasing sense of impotence, as I moved from dominating my family and preschool (the latter not socially of course, but everyone employed there was obsessed with and in love with me), to being on the outskirts of my first grade class's social scene (which continued all through my childhood), that created this huge obsession with controlling other people. as I've kind of grown out of my coordinative problems and the social difficulties that caused me, the stuff I think about has gotten considerably less weird. |
