It's basically all about being a retard and wearing the Uniform and Gun. And also being prole. Imagine having a job where you drive around all day and can legally break traffic laws. A prole's dream come true.
Like they look at their 10% clearance rate for Solving Murders and they don't care at all.
If we were better at Solving Crimes then we'd solve the "housing crisis" or whatever it's called because you couldn't just lay anyone you want down for a diversity dirt nap nbd. |

There's no "doctor" equivalent for cops. The DA's office is way, way too far from the action and is full of liberal artists making $50k. It doesn't work. There should be an OCI for Cop Overseer with its own Match Day. Goal will be to Solve Crimes. AI -driven job displacement will create this opportunity imho. |

I’ve said this before but the tall brooding detective with a troubled internal life, emotionally damaged from some past relationships or whatever - that’s all Hollywood myth. Detectives are fat Irish guys who like to go fishing or maybe if NYC they are a Latino/Black because they know “the streets”. |
